'Poissy' tulip (Tulipa 'Poissy') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. The flowers open in early to late spring and stand about 22 inches tall. The outside of each petal is pale rose, while the inside is bright rose with a blue base edged in white. Rijnveld & Sons bred it.
