Notes
'Ponderosa' rose (Rosa 'Ponderosa') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, cut flowers, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The bushy plant bears fragrant orange-red blooms in late spring, early to late summer, and early autumn. Bees visit the flowers. Reimer Kordes bred it in 1973.
Pairs well with Fountain grass, Pink, and Grape hyacinth.
