Notes

'Portrait' rose (Rosa 'Portrait') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The pink blend flowers are fragrant and bloom in late spring, early to late summer, and early autumn. Bees visit the blooms, and the upright plant has dark green leaves. Carl Meyer bred it in 1971.

Pairs well with Blazing star, Sedge, and Big bluestem.
