Notes
'Powder Puff' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Powder Puff') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The medium flowers have light pink outer petals and a creamy white center. Stiff stems about 30 inches tall hold them up well. Myron D. Bigger bred it in 1966.
Pairs well with Dutchman's breeches, Sensitive fern, Black Hero tulip, and Shrub rose.
