Notes

'Prairie Splendor' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Prairie Splendor') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Large pink blooms with silver tips open in early summer on tall, upright stems. Rosenfield bred it, and the flowers make good cut blooms.

Pairs well with Swamp milkweed, Switchgrass, and Japanese spirea.
