Notes

'President Wilder' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'President Wilder') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant white blooms have lilac shading and a few crimson flecks. They open in early summer on strong, upright stems. Ellwanger & Barry bred it.

Pairs well with Incrediball hydrangea, Stargazer lily, and Swamp milkweed.
