Notes

'Pretty in Pink' peony (Paeonia 'Pretty in Pink') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Each stem holds one fragrant, vivid pink-red blossom that attracts bees and butterflies. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Don Hollingsworth bred it, and the sturdy stems do not need support.

Pairs well with Hosta, Standing Ovation little bluestem, and Queen of Night tulip.
