Notes

'Prince Charming' peony (Paeonia 'Prince Charming') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. The large, fragrant flowers are dark red with a center of yellow staminodes edged in red. Elizabeth Glasscock Falk bred it.

Pairs well with Halcyon hosta, Magnus coneflower, and Standing Ovation little bluestem.
