Notes

'Princess Bride' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Princess Bride') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its fragrant, pure white bomb blooms open early, with cupped outer petals around a looser center ball. The plant stands about 28 in tall, has good stem strength, and holds lush green foliage.

Pairs well with Nepeta, Pink Impression tulip, and Royal fern.
