Notes

'Princess of Rome' peony (Paeonia 'Princess of Rome') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Double soft-pink flowers fade to light pink and white. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. The upright stems need no support.

Pairs well with Butterfly milkweed, Standing Ovation little bluestem, Carnaval De Nice tulip, and Hosta.
