Notes

'Promise Ring' peony (Paeonia 'Promise Ring') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. The early single flowers open powder-pink and fade to white, with a dark-pink ring around the center. Plants stand about 90 cm (35") tall and need no support.

Pairs well with Magnus coneflower, Halcyon hosta, Standing Ovation little bluestem, and Black Parrot tulip.
