Notes

'Promise' rose (Rosa 'Promise') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Its light pink blooms are fragrant and attract bees. Flowers open in late spring, again in early to late summer, and once more in early autumn. William A. Warriner bred it in 1976.

Pairs well with Blazing star, Big bluestem, and Sedge.
