Notes
'Prunifolia' nude hawthorn (Crataegus persimilis 'Prunifolia') is a tree for containers and hedges. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. It grows about 25 to 35 feet tall and wide, so give it room. Butterflies and birds visit it, and the flowers are fragrant. It is also drought tolerant.
Pairs well with Amur maple, Fountain grass, and Grape hyacinth.
