Notes

Parsley hawthorn (Crataegus marshallii) is a tree for specimen planting, pollinator gardens, rain gardens, and winter interest. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and dry to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. The deeply cut leaves look like garden parsley and turn colorful in fall. White spring blossoms give way to bright-red fruits that last into winter.

Pairs well with American holly, Buttonbush, Blueberry, and Mondo grass.
