Notes

'Purple Aura' rose (Rosa 'Purple Aura') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and loamy or clay soil. The mauve flowers have 35 to 40 petals and a sweet, spicy scent of cinnamon and cloves. It blooms from late spring into autumn, and bees visit the flowers. Alain A. Meilland bred it.

Pairs well with Bigleaf hydrangea, Fountain grass, and Buckeye Belle peony.
