Notes

'Purpurea' grape (Vitis vinifera 'Purpurea') is a climbing fruit for privacy screens, specimen planting, borders, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. The vine can climb to about 358 inches, so give it a strong support. Its blooms are fragrant and appear in spring, summer, and autumn.

Pairs well with Chicago Hardy fig, Sage, and Jerusalem sage.
