Notes

Pussytoes (Antennaria carpatica) is a perennial for ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average soil. It forms mats of silver-green foliage topped with fuzzy white flowers in spring and summer. Deer rarely make it their first choice. Cut or mow off the flower stems after blooming.

Pairs well with Woolly yarrow, Carnaval De Nice tulip, and Buffalo grass.
