Notes

'Putti' peony (Paeonia 'Putti') is a perennial for cut flowers, borders, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Fragrant double pink flowers have frilled, light pink edges and attract bees and butterflies. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Joshua Scholten bred it, and you can add support when the flowers open.

Pairs well with Sum and Substance hosta, Nodding onion, and Sedge.
