Notes

'Quadriga' peony (Paeonia 'Quadriga') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Red semi-double flowers face upward in spring and draw bees and butterflies. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. The upright stems stand on their own, so you do not need to stake them.

Pairs well with Sum and Substance hosta, Prairie dropseed, and Black Parrot tulip.
