Notes

'Queen Rose' peony (Paeonia 'Queen Rose') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, cut flowers, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Its single rose flowers have furled petals, deeper at the heart and paler toward the edges. The blooms are fragrant and attract bees and butterflies.

Pairs well with Standing Ovation little bluestem, Dense blazing star, and Sum and Substance hosta.
