Notes

'Rabbie' peony (Paeonia 'Rabbie') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant, scarlet red flowers have bright yellow anthers and bloom early on sturdy 24 inch stems. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. William J. Seidl bred it, and Solaris Farms introduced it in 2016.

Pairs well with Dense blazing star, Switchgrass, and Annabelle hydrangea.
