Notes

'Radiant Beginning' peony (Paeonia 'Radiant Beginning') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Single fuchsia flowers face upward and open early in the season. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. The plant stands about 30 inches tall and needs no support.

Pairs well with Wide Brim hosta, Moonshine yarrow, Standing Ovation little bluestem, and Nodding onion.
