Notes

'Radiant Carmine' peony (Paeonia 'Radiant Carmine') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. The carmine-red, semi-double flowers face upward and measure about 7 inches across. Plants reach about 28 inches tall and stand upright without support.

Pairs well with Wide Brim hosta, Moonshine yarrow, Standing Ovation little bluestem, and Queen of Night tulip.
