Notes
'Radiant Cerise' peony (Paeonia 'Radiant Cerise') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Its fragrant, raspberry-red double flowers face upward and measure about 6 inches across. Plants reach about 24 inches tall and stand up on their own, so they need no support.
Pairs well with Wide Brim hosta, Stella de Oro daylily, Standing Ovation little bluestem, and Queen of Night tulip.
