Notes

Rain lily (Zephyranthes grandiflora) is a bulb for borders and containers. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 9 and warmer, down to about 20°F (-7°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Pink flowers with white throats open in mid to late spring and again in early to late summer. It stays 9 to 12 inches tall.

Pairs well with Fountain grass, Aster, and Hollyhock.
