Notes

Aztec lily (Zephyranthes formosissima) is a bulb for borders, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 10 and warmer, down to about 30°F (-1°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. It sits low on the menu for deer. Its bright crimson flowers measure 7-11 cm across and bloom in spring, and the base of the petals is sometimes striped or blotched with yellow.

Pairs well with Bumble Rumble dahlia, Black Star gladiolus, and Button flower.
