Notes

Hill country rain lily (Zephyranthes drummondii) is a bulb for borders, containers, and meadows. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Fragrant white trumpet flowers pop up two or three days after good rains and last only a day or two. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. Plant the bulbs 8 inches deep for more flowers.

Pairs well with Society garlic, Mondo grass, and Purple top.
