Notes

Atamasco lily (Zephyranthes atamasca) is a perennial bulb for borders, shade gardens, and meadows, and it needs little care. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and average to wet, loamy soil. Its white flowers have six lobes that form a funnel, and they turn pink with age. The blooms often appear around Eastertime, so many people call them Easter lilies.

Pairs well with Foam flower, Christmas fern, Woodland phlox, and Eastern columbine.
