Notes

'Raleigh' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Raleigh') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its light rosy-pink flowers open in late spring and add soft color to the border. You can cut the blooms for bouquets and bring that soft color indoors. Kelway bred it.

Pairs well with Woodland phlox, Black Parrot tulip, and Sensitive fern.
