rambling rose

Notes

Rambling rose (Rosa filipes) is a shrub for fragrant displays, climbing into trees, and covering large structures. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun. It bears large clusters of single, pure white flowers with yellow stamens, and the strong, musky scent fills the garden. Orange-red hips follow the blooms. Give it plenty of room, since it can climb into large trees.

Pairs well with Clematis, Golden Delicious apple, and Snowdrop.
