'Ran Yue' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Ran Yue') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Semi-double pink flowers fade to white at the petal bases and open in late spring. The plant grows upright to about 90 cm (35.4") and needs no support.
