Notes

'Raspberry Ice' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Raspberry Ice') is a perennial for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It grows 36 inches tall and bears fragrant, bomb-shaped blooms in early spring. The rosy raspberry flowers have silver highlights. Each bush has few blooms, but the flowers and stems are large and make good cut flowers.

Pairs well with Pink Impression tulip, Japanese spirea, and Sensitive fern.
