Notes

Raspyberry/Framberry junebearing strawberry (Fragaria ananassa Raspyberry/Framberry) is a fruit for food gardens and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun. The fruit tastes and smells like a cross between a strawberry and a raspberry. As a junebearer, it gives its largest, sweetest berries over 2 to 3 weeks. White to cream flowers open in early to late spring, and song birds visit the plants.

Pairs well with Terracotta yarrow, Lime basil, Common Chamomile German chamomile, and Victoria rhubarb.
