Notes

'Red Cherub' peony (Paeonia 'Red Cherub') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, rock gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Single red blooms open extra early and have soft pink stigmas. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Roy G. Klehm bred it.

Pairs well with Fringed bleeding heart, Blue grama, and Black Parrot tulip.
