Notes

'Red Horizon' peony (Paeonia 'Red Horizon') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It bears fragrant, double red blooms that attract butterflies and bees, and David Reath bred it in 1990. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first.

Pairs well with Paprika yarrow, Rainforest Sunrise hosta, Blue grama, and Black Hero tulip.
