Notes

'Red Hot' rose (Rosa 'Red Hot') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Medium red, fragrant blooms open from early to late summer and bring in bees. Thomas F. Carruth bred it, and the small, glossy leaves stay medium green.

Pairs well with Munstead lavender, Red Charm peony, and Ornamental onion.
