Notes

'Redshift' tickseed (Coreopsis 'Redshift') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, pollinator gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average, sandy or clay soil. Its yellow to red rays open in early to late summer and again in early to late autumn. Deer rarely make it their first choice. Butterflies and bees visit the blooms, and the plant is drought tolerant.

Pairs well with Standing Ovation little bluestem, Gladiator ornamental onion, and Jeana garden phlox.
