Notes
'ReeDak' common juniper (Juniperus communis 'ReeDak') is a shrub for low maintenance gardens and naturalized areas. It is hardy to USDA zone 2, or down to -50°F (-46°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It is evergreen and drought tolerant. Deer tend to pass it by. It grows at a moderate rate and spreads wide, so give it room.
Pairs well with Red fescue, Rheingold American arborvitae, and Red spruce.
