Notes
'Reine Supreme' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Reine Supreme') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It blooms in mid to late spring with fragrant, double, apple-blossom pink flowers that sometimes show red candy stripes. Stems are strong and reach 32 to 34 inches tall, so the blooms make excellent cut flowers.
Pairs well with Black Parrot tulip, Japanese spirea, and Sensitive fern.
