Notes

Rhubarb (Rheum rhabarbarum) is a perennial for borders, food gardens, and low maintenance beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. The leaves are green with red or burgundy tints, and green and white flowers open in summer. It sits low on the menu for rabbits. Give it room to spread, since clumps can reach 47 inches wide.

Pairs well with Krossa Regal hosta, Western sword fern, Cheerfulness daffodil, and Pacific Beauty calendula.
