Notes
'Richfield White' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Richfield White') is an upright perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. White full rose flowers open from late spring to early to mid summer. The stiff, strong stems hold up in wind and rain without falling. Alonzo B. Franklin bred it.
Pairs well with Wild geranium, Tickseed, Blue sage, and Cinnamon fern.
