Rigel tulip

Garden uses

Notes

'Rigel' tulip (Tulipa 'Rigel') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. It bears white blooms from early to late spring. The stems reach about 22 inches tall, so they work well in bouquets. Hybris B.V. bred it.

Pairs well with Bridal Crown daffodil, Duchesse de Nemours peony, and Ernest Markham clematis.
