Notes

Roger's Heart peony (Paeonia 'Roger’s Heart') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The early double pink flowers are fragrant and face upward. Plants reach about 24 inches tall and stand upright, so they need no support. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by.

Pairs well with Blue Mouse Ears hosta, Pink Impression tulip, and Blue grama.
