Notes

'Roger’s Prize' peony (Paeonia 'Roger’s Prize') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its semi-double blooms are raspberry pink to red, with yellow stamens in the center. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. The plant stands upright at 26 to 28 inches and needs no support.

Pairs well with Minuteman hosta, Phantom panicle hydrangea, Cheerfulness daffodil, and Sedge.
