Notes

'Roger’s Salute' peony (Paeonia 'Roger’s Salute') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Fragrant, raspberry colored single flowers face upward and draw butterflies and bees. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Roger F. Anderson bred it.

Pairs well with Annabelle hydrangea, Prairie dropseed, Minuteman hosta, and Cheerfulness daffodil.
