'Romanze' rose (Rosa 'Romanze') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, cut flowers, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Medium pink blooms open from early to late summer and smell sweet. Bees visit the flowers. Dr. Eckart Haenchen bred it in 1985.
Pairs well with Jackmanii clematis, Blazing star, and Blue grama.
