Notes
'Rooster Reveille' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Rooster Reveille') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its shaggy, semi-double white blooms have red candy striping and a sweet fragrance. Each stem carries one to four buds, and the stems stay strong at about 28 inches tall. Roy G. Klehm bred it in 2000.
Pairs well with Siberian iris, Woolly yarrow, and Cinnamon fern.
