Notes

'Roraima' peony (Paeonia 'Roraima') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Professor Harald Fawkner bred it, and the fragrant, flat single blooms are deep pink with blue shading. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Small round leaflets make a dainty bush.

Pairs well with Blanket flower, Prairie dropseed, and Nodding onion.
