Notes

'Rose Fritters' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Rose Fritters') is a perennial for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant, cactus type blooms reach 5½ inches wide and show deep pink color streaked with cream. Flowers open from early to late spring on stems about 30 inches tall. Krekler bred it, and each stem carries one or two buds.

Pairs well with Wild ginger, Sedge, and Shrub rose.
