Notes

'Rose Gnome' peony (Paeonia 'Rose Gnome') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, rock gardens, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Rose-pink single cups with yellow centers bloom on plants about 14 inches tall. The flowers are fragrant and attract butterflies and bees. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal.

Pairs well with Stained Glass hosta, Queen of Night tulip, and Prairie dropseed.
